Comprehensive Eye Exam

The health of your eyes is our first priority. We offer a thorough eye examination which includes determining a prescription for glasses, and assessing the health of the front and inner surfaces of the eye. We utilize state-of-the-art imaging equipment to document and assess for any abnormalities. 

This exam will measure the visual skills the eyes use to gather information for the brain.  These include Accommodation (focusing), Ocular Motor Skills (tracking), and Binocular Skills (Eye teaming). These skills are vital components of an efficient visual system involved in reading and learning. 

This exam will look at how the brain processes information once it is transmitted from the eyes.  This type of exam is tailored for the individual, utilizing various age-normed, standardized tests to assess visual performance vital for reading and learning.

Some patients experience diplopia (double vision). These symptoms can significantly impact daily activities and this dedicated exam can help determine if prism lenses are able to solve your problem. 

Whether you are in need of a new contact lens fit or are an existing contact lens wearer, this exam can determine the proper lens to fit your needs.  Large strides have been made in the advancement of contact lens technology in recent years.  Contact lenses can now be used to prevent the progression of nearsightedness, people with distance and near vision needs (bifocal contacts), or those with dry eyes.

We can follow your existing eye conditions (such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts) and we are available for emergency walk-in visits.
