Dr. Nathaniel Wernick, OD, FCOVD

Dr. Wernick graduated from NSU School of Optometry, followed by specialized residency training in Vision Therapy at SUNY College of Optometry. Additionally, he holds FCOVD accreditation, awarded to doctors with special focus in Vision Therapy. 

From there, he spent over 10 years working in a successful private practice specialized in vision therapy and rehabilitation.

He now has ventured to opening his own practice, where he strives to uphold the same excellence in patient care.

In his free time, Dr. Wernick enjoys playing soccer and watching his favorite baseball team, The Mets.

Eugenia Theodosopoulos is a student doctor at the SUNY College of Optometry and a vision therapist at Wernick Optometry. 

She has a strong interest in vision therapy and rehabilitation and is passionate about helping patients improve their visual function and regain confidence in their daily activities.

Eugenia completed her internship at the Lyons VA Medical Center, where she provided comprehensive eye care to veterans. She is currently working alongside ophthalmic surgeons, gaining experience in the management of a wide range of ocular conditions and surgical co-management.

As a New York native, Eugenia has always loved working with patients throughout the five boroughs. She enjoys building meaningful connections with her patients and helping them achieve their individual visual goals.

Outside of optometry, Eugenia is passionate about music where she spends much of her free time playing various instruments and discovering new bands to listen to.

I recently moved to my dream city, New York about six months ago. I have always been drawn to its unique energy, diversity and the way it truly never sleeps. Living here has been an exciting and inspiring new chapter for me, both personally and professionally.

I am half Italian and half Belgian and I naturally enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds, building genuine relationships in my everyday work.

Outside of work, I love traveling and discovering new places, cultures and perspectives. I am also passionate about fashion, a love that began in childhood and was inspired by my dear grandfather, who taught me to appreciate creativity and personal style.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring New York, discovering new spots and embracing everything this vibrant city has to offer.
